Love what you do
In my life's motto "live, love, laugh everyday", to love does not only refer to the love between man and wife, parent and child, loving friendships, … it also refers to loving what we do.
Some time ago my friend Frank gave me the motivational book “FISH: a proven way to boost morale and improve results” which starts with the realization: every job, no matter how exciting at the start, gets routine and non-exciting after some time. To get out of the boredom, it’s YOUR challenge to make it interesting and it depends on your attitude if you succeed.

For myself, I was already aware in school that the lessons are less boring if I participate actively. It also meant that I had to study less at home because I had absorbed much of the school content during the lessons, listening attentively and participating consciously.
This attitude has stayed with me throughout life. It means that I consciously chose to be present in the moment, enjoying what I do, not holding back.
